From the Designer: Update 8.10.16
First off, I'd like to thank everyone who has helped with our continued growth this year. In a few weeks we'll be celebrating our SECOND year of business (whoa!) and without your continued support, we certainly could not keep doing what we're doing. So, a gigantic thank you to all our customers & followers. We appreciate you more than you know! And also, BIG thank you to our alma mater College of Charleston for featuring us on The College Today!
It's been a busy Spring/Summer at GARB. We were very fortunate to hire a wonderfully talented local to help us take on some big orders. (Local designers- if you need help with your sewing, whether it be to improve product quality or focus on other tasks pertaining to your business, I know a lady! She is fantastic, organized, and so knowledgable!) It ended up being the perfect time, as I developed a few limiting health issues over the past few months. This leads me to my next point - another HUGE thank you to those who were so understanding of delays of a few custom pieces. I had surgery a few weeks back and hope to receive a clean bill of health at my next doctor's appointment! But seriously - thank you thank you thank you to everyone who has been so helpful!
As we head into the Fall/Winter season, I want to open the table to any ideas y'all might have about where you would like to see GARB. Our plan is to have a few trunk shows over the holiday months, and we will also be accepting custom holiday orders from now until November 1st, 2016. Holiday season is my absolute FAVORITE time of year, and I am so looking forward to meeting new faces at our Pop Ups!
In spite of the health woes, I took a few incredible mini-trips this summer - one with my sisters up to Blowing Rock, North Carolina, and another to a friend's wedding in Upstate New York. I travel all over the state for work and became familiar with a few more small Southeastern towns. Already dreaming of my next weekend getaway to New York in a few sort weeks. Here's a mini-photo diary from my travels this Summer.
Thanks for following along! As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions - feel free to post them here or send me an email at email@example.com
